Minors Policy
Informational translation. The legally binding version is the Spanish original, available at /legal/menores.html. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
1. General stance
ULOX is not a platform designed for minors. Minors require a specific protection framework that exceeds the current scope of the Service. ITRION SOFTWARE, S.L. actively discourages the use of ULOX by persons below the age of majority and takes measures to prevent it in the cases provided for by applicable regulations.
2. Minimum age to create an account
The minimum age to use the Service is adjusted to the legislation of the user's country or region of habitual residence. As a reference:

ITRION reserves the right to raise the minimum age for protection, Service integrity or regulatory compliance reasons, communicating this on the registration page and in these documents.
3. Age declaration during registration
During the registration process the user must expressly confirm that they meet the applicable minimum age. Acceptance of the Terms includes the statement that the user has the required age.
ITRION does not require documentary evidence when registering the account (no national ID, passport or similar is requested), but the user's declaration has legal value and its falsehood may entail the immediate cancellation of the account.
4. Parental consent
Where applicable legislation allows the use of the Service by minors with the consent of those holding parental authority or guardianship, the consent must be prior, free, informed, specific and unambiguous. The minor's legal guardians must supervise the minor's use of the Service and are responsible for all activity carried out from the account.
ITRION may request reasonable evidence of legal guardian status when use by minors is detected and there is doubt as to authorisation.
5. Additional protection measures
- Absolute prohibition of any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including artificial generation, pursuant to the Community Rules.
- Prohibition of grooming and any sexual approach to minors.
- Immediate cancellation of accounts violating the above and notification to competent authorities, with delivery of available data under legal request.
- Specific reporting channel:
abuse@ulox.org, with maximum priority when minors are affected.
6. Procedure for withdrawing accounts of improper minors
When ITRION becomes aware that a user below the minimum age has created an account without the required authorisation:
- It will immediately suspend the account.
- It will notify, if it has a channel, that the account is subject to verification.
- It will request age evidence and, where appropriate, valid parental consent.
- If such evidence is not provided within a reasonable period, it will delete the account and associated data it controls.
7. Responsibility of parents and guardians
Holders of parental authority or legal guardians who become aware that a minor in their care uses the Service in contravention of this Policy may, at any time, request the immediate cancellation of the account by contacting privacy@ulox.org or abuse@ulox.org, reasonably accrediting their status.
